Privacy notice
Last updated: June 2026
This policy describes how Conceria Ausonia processes the personal data of users who visit this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.
The data controller is Conceria Ausonia S.r.l., Via del Fontino 30, Santa Croce sull'Arno (PI), Italy. For any request regarding personal data you can write to icuoi@ausonia.it.
We process technical browsing data that IT systems acquire automatically (such as the IP address), the data that the user voluntarily provides by filling in the contact form or writing by email (name, email address, message content) and the information stored locally in the browser described in the cookie section.
Data is processed to respond to contact requests (performance of pre-contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR), to ensure the operation and security of the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR). No profiling or automated decision-making is carried out.
This site does not use profiling, marketing or statistical analytics cookies and does not share data with advertising platforms. Only technical and functional technologies are used, stored in the browser and not transmitted to third parties: the local storage entry "ausonia_lang_manual" remembers the language chosen by the user, "ausonia_cookie_ok" records that this notice has been acknowledged and the session storage entry "ausonia_geo_done" prevents repeated language redirects. To serve the site in the correct language, the country of origin is detected through the hosting provider's service (Cloudflare) based on the IP address; this data is not retained. The fonts are hosted directly on the site and do not generate requests to third-party servers. As these are tools strictly necessary for the operation requested by the user, under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code they do not require consent, but they are listed here for full transparency.
Data may be processed by the suppliers that provide the technical services of the site (in particular the hosting provider), appointed as data processors. Data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties. Any transfers to third countries take place only where adequate safeguards exist under Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR.
Data provided through the contact form or by email is kept for the time necessary to handle the request and to comply with the related legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. The technical information stored in the browser remains until the user removes it from their device settings.
As a data subject, the user may exercise at any time the rights set out in Art. 15-22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
To exercise your rights or for any question about this notice, simply write to icuoi@ausonia.it. We will reply within the time limits set by applicable law.
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in the site's services. The current version is always published on this page together with the date of the last update.
